Top Fuel & AA/FA Session Two

Top Fuel Qualifying Session Two

Nitro Saturday opened up with the second session of Top Fuel qualifying pairing Tyler Hilton and Jim Murphy; both smoked the tires in Q1.

Pair two out on a much warmer track than Q1 were Jim Young and Pete Wittenberg.

About 700' out Wittenberg got out of the groove and went bowling for pumpkins.

Up next was Rick McGee and Phil Ruskowski.

Next pair featured Bret Williamson and Brendan Murry.

Murry was ahead, until he wasn't.

Williamson shut off early to a 6.17 at just 175.34 while Murry once again experienced engine issues and was forced to click it to a 6.69 at 133.34.

Up next it was two of the favorites, Adam Sorokin and Mendy Fry.

Sorokin spun the tires and was done early.

Fry stepped up with a 5.660 at 224.47 landing her in the #2 spot. Sorokin was good with his Q1 5.742 that was #4.
